About Ocean Gifts and Shells:

We are a second-generation family owned and operated business. Our business was started in 1977 primarily as a wholesale operation out of San Diego, California.  My father traveled along the coasts selling seashells and building a diverse wholesale customer base.  In the beginning, we primarily retailed shells and novelties as an outlet for our wholesale company.  Then 15 years ago we moved to our current retail location in Ocean Beach, a sub-community of San Diego, California.  Our store is now bigger and better than ever and boasts a 5000 square foot beach lovers shopping experience.  We now offer thousands of items such as seashells, coral, sea life, night lights, wind chimes, wall décor, beach jewelry, greeting cards, humor gifts, souvenirs, holiday items, beachwear, sunglasses, towels, t-shirts, hoodies and much much more.  And with much excitement we have opened our web site store so our customers can now shop from the comfort of home.  And our many tourist customers can purchase their coveted beach items 24 hours a day 7 days a week wherever they are!  We are continually adding new beach products and nautical décor items to our site, so please check back often.
